How to access your Telehealth / Virtual Appointment in 3 easy steps!

  1. Select your provider's DOXY link ( see above ). Please, bookmark or save the DOXY link to make future check-ins a breeze, as the link remains the same for each session

  2. Next, a few minutes prior to your scheduled appointment, simply type in your name and click "CHECK IN"

  3. You will be placed in your provider's "Virtual Waiting Room" and your provider will be notified.  Just like being in an in-office waiting area, where you will wait to be seen, your provider will join you as soon as they are available

IMPORTANT:

Our providers are not responsible for reminding you to log on for your Telehealth session OR responsible for sending the link to you right before your scheduled Telehealth appointment. If you are late to your Telehealth session or miss your session entirely due to these reasons, you will be considered a NO SHOW and a $75 fee will be applied to your account. If you do have questions about accessing your Telehealth appointment, we would be happy to help you. Please make sure to reach out at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

Please note that you must have an active credit card and/or active insurance on file to participate.

How do I prepare for my Telehealth virtual appointment?

Before the start of your Telehealth visits, you should:

  • Know how to access your Telehealth appointment.

  • Ask for help if needed. Let your provider know if you need support like a screen reader, closed captioning, or other help.

  • Test your technology. Make sure your internet and the device you are using for the visit works well.

  • Find a good spot. Choose a quiet place with good access to the internet. Make sure you are comfortable and can talk openly.

  • Safety first. Our providers will not conduct a Telehealth session while a patient is driving.

What should I do before a video visit?

Once you are logged in to your appointment, you should:

  • Adjust lighting. Make sure your health care provider can clearly see you.

  • Steady camera. Keep your device stable. Put your computer on a desk or table or use something to hold up your phone or tablet.

  • Be centered. Sit so your face is in the middle of the screen and the camera is at the same height as your eyes. Remember, how you look on the screen is how your health care provider will see you.

  • Check sound. Make sure you can hear well. Test your speakers or earphones and adjust the volume if needed.

  • Close extra stuff. Shut down other things on your computer or device. This can make your internet faster and you won't get distracted.

How can I feel confident with Telehealth?

Confident means that you have the information and ability to speak for yourself during your health care visits. In order to feel confident in your Telehealth visit, you should:

  • Learn how Telehealth works. It is okay to ask your provider how the Telehealth visit will work and what to expect.

  • Take your time. This is your visit. You shouldn’t feel rushed or like you can’t speak up.

  • Ask questions. If something isn’t clear, ask your provider to explain it. Make sure you understand their answers.
